DIRECTOR OF IOLTA OPERATIONS/DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT: New, full-time opportunity with the Montana Justice Foundation, the charitable arm of the Montana legal community, for a professional interested in developing support for programs which promote access to justice and assist low-income individuals and families throughout Montana. Responsible for new and ongoing activities to strengthen the financial health and stability of the Foundation, including maximizing revenue from the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program, successful fundraising within the legal community, annual campaigns, generation of cy pres awards, securing planned gifts and obtaining new grants and revenue sources. Central to the position will be the individual's ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with lawyers and bankers. Position is based Missoula, Montana, and individual reports to MJF's 15-member Board of Directors. Starting salary of at least $45,000 (plus generous benefits package) with the possibility of upward adjustment depending on experience and qualifications. Bachelor degree required, law degree or development experience preferred; excellent written, listening and oral communication skills; some travel required due to evening and weekend engagements.
